Joseph Sharp born 1780 in old Westmoreland Co., Pa. or what is currently Greene, Westmoreland, Allegheny and died 31 Oct 1854 in Princeton, PA. He married Anna Neely who was born in 1788 in Robinson Twp, Allegheny Co., PA and died 19 May 1856 in Princeton, PA.
- Their son, Nicholson Sharp, was born on 29 Jul 1818 in Princeton Co., PA and died on 10 Aug 1912 in Chapmanville, Venango Co., PA. He married, first, Sara Munnell, second, Catherine Magee, and third, Hannah Amitage Fisher. Sara Munnell was born in 1819 in Princeton Co., PA and died in 1854 in Chapmanville, Venango Co., PA.
- Their son, William Sharp was born in 1845 in Chapmanville, Venango Co., PA and died there in 1921. He married Esther Ann Armagost who was born in 1851 and died in 1926 in Chapmanville, Venango Co., PA.

- The son, Willis Monroe Sharp, was born 20 Nov 1846 in Hickman Co., TN and died in 1905 in Gibson Co., TN. He married Harriett Harder in 1866. She was born in Nov 1849 and died 24 Nov 1928 in Gibson Co., TN.
- Their son, Elihue Leondus "Cal" Sharp, was born 31 Jul 1878 and died 28 Oct 1926. He married Mildred Caperton 19 Aug 1900. She was born 4 Jul 1879 and died 4 May 1963.
