- Their son, John C. Wood, born 1848 Cherokee Co., GA, married his cousin, Nancy Wood, Gordon Co., GA, 28 Jan 1866. She was born 1840, Pickens Co., SC., died in Whitfield Co., GA, abt. 1872-1873. John C. Wood died in Hamilton Co., TN, 8 Apr 1899.
